We hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend!  We are on the second week of our Farm/Harvest Unit.  This week, we are learning about what jobs a farmer has.  We are reading stories about apple farmers and animal farmers.  Here are the books we will be reading.

Tuesday      Coloring apple trees and adding quantities of apples that match the
                     number on the tree
Wednesday  Practicing positional vocab with farmers and their barns
Thursday     Sorting leaves by ascending size
Friday          Sorting animals that live on a farm and animals that do not live on a
                       farm

Dear Families,

We have three new baby fish in our aquarium!  Friends had lots of fun trying to find the new babies in the cave.  This coming week we will be starting our Farm and Harvest Unit!  We will learn about farms, the differences between animal and vegetable farms, which animals live on a farm, and how farms help our community.  Here are the books we will be reading this week.
