Dear Families,

This week we are starting our Fairy Tales/Nursery Rhymes Unit.  We are also

preparing for our Holiday show on December 19th at 1:30.  We will sing songs

for our families and do an arts and crafts project together.  If you haven’t already,

please return the RSVP form so we know who to expect. Here’s what we will be

reading this week.

Work Times

AM Discrete trial work 1- 1:1 instruction, workbooks, and file folder math games

Group Activity- Monday- Arts and Crafts-dot marker holiday lights

                         Tuesday- Handwriting without Tears- Color Purple tracing and

coloring within a space

                         Wednesday- Game- Pretty Pretty Princess

                         Thursday- OT- small group with COTA

                         Friday- Practice Play- Jungles

Small Groups

Monday- Sorting big, medium, and small items from Goldilocks

Tuesday- Fairy Tale math counting book

Wednesday- Sequencing the gingerbread man story

Thursday- Gingerbread alphabet book

Choice Time

Red Table- collage presents with wrapping paper

Blue Table- decorating crowns with jewels

Green Table- play doh gingerbread men

Yellow Table- peg boards

Rug- jungles

Block Area- waffle blocks

Dramatic Play- Making “stone soup”

Sensory Table- cutting wrapping paper

Easel- dot marker princesses and gingerbread men
